A few days ago, I snapped this pic of this young Sharp-shinned Hawk catching a few morning rays of sunshine. I think she would have enjoyed the spectacle a bit more if she had nailed that Blue Jay a few moments before....
This photo makes me wish I could perch on a branch. I guess perching on the porch is as close as I'll get. Either way, this photo reminds me how much I love the morning sun. (Sorry, I had a typo in the first comment, and I hate that!! :) )
